The Grandson of Pandit Mansa Ram ji Raina, who was the Raj Vaidya of Royal Family and official Vachaspati of Maharani Charak wife of Maharna Pratap Singh Ji.
Their ancestors were educated in Lahore & there was a popular saying of those times that ‘’Jinne Lahore nahi Dikhhya , Unne Kakh ni Dikhya”
Four generations of this family have done their education in Sanskrit. They were also been to Kashi Vishwanath for education in Ayurved & Sanskrit. Pandit Mansa Ram ji raina later completed his Degree in Ayurveda as Sanatak from Lahore. He was also Principal in SutraMandi College, Lahore.
There were only 3 colleges in those times and he was principal in all these colleges in different intervals
Ayurvedic preparations, Murabba and medicinal formulations were made under supervision of Pt. Mansa Ram Ji Raina for Royal Families.
All ambitious & intelligent kids were sent to Lahore & outside J&K for higher studies on the expenses of Royal Family.
