A Jhanki was taken out from Shri Narsingh Dev Mandir Ramnagar, on the occasion of Shri Narsingh Jayanti on 21st May. This Jhanki is being taken out for the last 15 years with great pomp and show and deep reverence. The jhanki travels through the town accompanied by dhol-nagada and artists from far come to perform during this time. Langar/community kitchens are organised at multiple places.
The Narsingh Dev Mandir in Ramnagar was constructed around 1800 BC and the various descriptions of the Shaligram in the Mandir date it to around 1300 BC.
